Nonprofits attended the resilience-building workshop held by the Dr. Lucy Jones Center for Science and Society, presented in partnership with ENLA, on April 29th from 1-2:30pm. They learned about their risk in an earthquake or other disaster and what can be done to reduce that damage and impact. The main takeaways are four steps to change the equation: understand your building, conduct a hazard hunt, plan with your employees, and plan for recovery. Building resilience takes connection and support; together we can help to build resources and reduce risk. The workshop also included a Q&A portion.
